All Let’s Talk programs are delivered for free to anyone who would like to participate. The non-profit Let’s Talk Health Society is self-funding and does not charge for anything.
However, we do ask that you cover the cost for any posters and Let’s Talk cards that you print and distribute to your favourite venues (and also share your new venue via this web site).
You take a card out of the pocket of the Let’s Talk poster and put it beside you, indicating that you want to talk to others. Voila! No one has to eat or drink or be at home alone. Print your own poster and cards.
1. Get some posters and cards.
2. Ask the owner or manager if you can put up the poster with cards in a highly visible spot. (Keep the cards stocked.)
3. Contact Let’s Talk and register your new venue so we can publish it online and other Talkers can join you.
4. Frequent your new locations and display the cards to start talking. If appropriate, offer cards to others.
5. Share your stories that result from the Let’s Talk program to us and let us know if we can share it online. For example, your story might be: I made an important connection, found a life partner, got a job, etc.
